our medical and computer expertise to provide:
Free
services for the public:
- Free
Patient-Empowered Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Access to
medical articles for chronic disease and chronic pain.
- Access to
the latest news from the world of medicine.
- Novel
computer-analysis of patient-drawn diagrams of body
areas affected by pain & other symptoms.
- Matching
patients to actively enrolling clinical trials.
Commercial Services for doctors:
-
Technical Support for our free EMR system for small
medical practices.
-
Database transfer to selected full-function EMR systems.
Commercial
services for clinical trial sponsors:

trial enrollment on the Internet.
- New
efficacy evaluation for chronic pain drugs (Total
Pain Load & statistically-based before-and-after
composite images of pain areas in the human body).
Advances
in medical research:
-
Population-based chronic pain data.
-
Integration of pain diagram databases through
mapping of different pain diagram designs.
-
Identification of pain patterns in different body
areas followed by matching of pain patterns to pain
causes.
Taylor
MicroTechnology, Inc. (TMT) is a small family company with
many years experience in designing medical diagnostic systems,
and in designing and administering clinical research studies.
It was incorporated in 1984. TMT
has licensed diagnostic systems to major pharmaceutical
companies. The technology in TMT’s patented
heart sound signal averaging system was used to provide
early warning of possible catastrophic strut failure in
artificial heart valves. TMT's
current interests combine clinical research
expertise with expertise in computer programming and image
processing. TMT
provides consultant support for Pharmaceutical Companies
and Contract Research Organizations: clinical program design,
clinical study design (particularly web-based studies),
report writing, and development of diagnostic systems. In
addition, through a network of partners, TMT can provide
full service support for multi-center studies in the United
States and the rest of the world.
TMT
has a strong patent portfolio that is available for licensing.
For example, a recent patent describes use of a relational
database and two-dimensional time/action matrix to manage
sets of documents used in clinical research studies ( “Method
and System for Generating and Distributing Document Sets
using a Relational Database”, U.S. Patent 6,209,004). Approval
of pending patents for the diagnosis and management of pain
is anticipated shortly.
